An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale jolted Serui, Papua Province, Wednesday at 11.21 am local time. The quake's epicenter was located at 1.80 degrees southern latitude and 136.44 degrees eastern longitude, around 24 km northeast of Serui, at a depth of 10 km below sea level, according to information from the Jayapura meteorological, climatology and geophysics office. Reports on damages or injuries were not yet available, ANTARA reported.
