An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Melonguane, North Sulawesi Province, on Monday at 5.22 am Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB). The quake's epicenter located 3.89 degrees northern latitude, 126.77 degrees eastern longitude, at a depth of 10 km below sea level, around 122 km southeast of Melonguane, ANTARA quoted the national meteorological, climatology and geophysics office as saying. The temblor did not have potential to trigger a subsequent tsunami.
