Hijjah 17, 1431 / Nov. 23, 2010, SPA -- In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide 350 tons of dates as a gift from the King to the flood-affected people in Pakistan, the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad handed over today this quantity to the Pakistani government. The quantity was handed over by Acting Charge D'affaires of the Saudi Embassy Mohammed bin Nafie Al-Madani who said in a statement that the dates are a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistani people and come within the framework of continued support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for flood-affected people in Pakistan. For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Shahid-Allah Beck thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continued support for Pakistan.
