In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, to provide relief and humanitarian aid to the displaced people in Pakistan, the 6th Saudi plane loaded with relief materials arrived at Islamabad International Airport to complete the transfer of approximately 600 tons of foodstuffs, tents, blankets and mattresses. The First Secretary at Saudi Embassy in Islamabad Mohammed bin Nafie Al-Madani handed over the relief aid to the Pakistani side today. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he hoped that this assistance would contribute to alleviating the suffering of the people of Pakistan in difficult humanitarian conditions, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince supports the Pakistani people.
