Saudi Arabia has provided 180 tons of dates to victims of flood-hit areas of Pakistan's Sindh and Balochistan provinces. On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad Abdullah Mazouk Alzahrani delivered the consignment of dates to Sohaila Mushtaq, Director General, Emergency Relief Cell, Cabinet Division. On the occasion, Sohaila Mushtaq expressed thanks and gratitude to the Saudi government for this gesture, which would provide relief to the flood victims. She said the dates would be handed over to the flood Relief Commissioners of Sindh and Balochistan for distribution among the flood affected people. Ms Mushtaq also conveyed warm sentiments of the people of Pakistan to their Saudi brethren for their kind support and hoped that the cordial relations between the two countries would grow and strengthen further in future.
