One hundred fifty tons of high quality Saudi dates were handed over to a representative of the Pakistan government by Saleh Al-Mughairy from the Saudi Embassy and Muhammad Bin Saad Al-Hagbani, representative of the Saudi Ministry of Finance, at a function here on Thursday. The dates are meant for distribution among poor Pakistani people, especially those affected by the devastating floods in the country's northwestern region. The delivery ceremony was also attended by Pakistani official Abdul Hameed Bulghari, Director General of emergency relief to the victims of floods. Bulghari assured those present that the Saudi dates would be distributed to flood-affected people.
