Qa'dah 29, 1431 / Nov. 06, 2010, SPA -- There have been no casualties and damage in the zone of the Saturday morning earthquake in Chechnya, there have been no reports about injured, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's main department for the Chechen Republic told Itar-Tass. An earthquake measuring 4.5 points on the Richter scale was registered at 11:34 MSK in the area of the Chechen-Ingush border on Saturday. Earth tremors with a magnitude of 2.0-3.0 points were registered in Gudermes and another two neighboring districts of Chechnya. The earthquake was not felt in Grozny. According to the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the epicentre of the earthquake was located about 40 kilometres east of Grozny, where its focus was at a depth of 20 kilometres.
