Qa'dah 26, 1431, Nov 03, 2010, SPA -- As many as 690,249 pilgrims, have so far arrived in Madinah, 460,610 pilgrims left the city, and 229,524 pilgrims remained in the city to offer prayers at the Prophet's Holy Mosque in preparation for proceeding to Makkah to perform Hajj rituals. In its report issued today, the Secretariat of Hajj Committee in Madinah noted that the number of pilgrims who arrived until yesterday in Madinah through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and other entry points amounted to 59,426 pilgrims, while the number of pilgrims departed from Madinah stood at 70,020. The Secretariat said that Indians topped the list of arrival pilgrims from abroad to Madinah with a figure of 26,373 pilgrims, followed by 22,726 Iranian pilgrims, and 19,605 Pakistani pilgrims. The report emphasized that all concerned departments have provided best services to pilgrims around the clock.
