Qa'dah 24, 1431, Nov 01, 2010, SPA -- As many as 594,549 pilgrims, have so far arrived in Madinah, 341,559 pilgrims left the city, and 252,875 pilgrims remained in the city to offer prayers at the Prophet's Holy Mosque in preparation for proceeding to Makkah to perform Hajj rituals. In its report issued today, the Secretariat of Hajj Committee in Madinah noted that the number of pilgrims who arrived today in Madinah through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and other entry points amounted to 37,404 pilgrims, while the number of pilgrims departed from Madinah stood at 43,386. The Secretariat said that Indians topped the list of arrival pilgrims from abroad to Madinah with a figure of 31,161 pilgrims, followed by 28,409 Indonesian pilgrims, and 23,743 Iranian pilgrims. The report emphasized that all concerned departments have provided best services to pilgrims around the clock.
