Qa'dah 25, 1431, Nov 02, 2010, SPA -- As many as 630,823 pilgrims, have so far arrived in Madinah, 390,590 pilgrims left the city, and 240,118 pilgrims remained in the city to offer prayers at the Prophet's Holy Mosque in preparation for proceeding to Makkah to perform Hajj rituals. In its report issued today, the Secretariat of Hajj Committee in Madinah noted that the number of pilgrims who arrived until yesterday in Madinah through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and other entry points amounted to 36,274 pilgrims, while the number of pilgrims departed from Madinah stood at 49,031. The Secretariat said that Indians topped the list of arrival pilgrims from abroad to Madinah with a figure of 28,393 pilgrims, followed by 22,527 Iranian pilgrims, and 21,231 Indonesian pilgrims. The report emphasized that all concerned departments have provided best services to pilgrims around the clock.
