Qa'dah 22, 1431 H/Oct 30, 2010, SPA -- Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has described the appeal by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the people of Iraq and all the political actors inside Iraq as an important initiative comes in time and reflects the leading role of the Saudi leadership, to support security and stability all over the Arab and Islamic region. "The great initiatives and efforts being exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to address the situations in the Muslim and Arab world are always appreciated at all Islamic, Arab and international levels", Al-Attiyah said. The GCC Secretary General also stressed that the appeal made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Iraqi people to seek to solve every problem facing the long-waited formation of the government aims to ease the current situations in Iraq for the security, integrity and stability of the land and the brotherly people of Iraq.
