Qa'dah 22, 1431 H/Oct 30, 2010, SPA -- Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar has welcomed the appeal made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to His Excellency President Jalal Talabani of the Republic of Iraq and all the Iraqi parties that participated in the elections and the political actors to come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a meeting in Riyadh after the Hajj season and under the umbrella of the Arab League to seek a solution to form the government in Iraq. In a statement, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim expressed the appreciation of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar for this good initiative, which reflects the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on Iraq's stability and unity of its people, in addition to his role in the service of his country as well as his Islamic and Arab nation. Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim stressed that he is hopeful this initiative will contribute to the formation of the government and the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
