Prince Turki pointed out the circumstances which faced the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after the attacks of September 11, 2001. He highlighted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was among the first countries targeted by Al-Qaeda terrorist acts. Prince Turki praised the Saudi strong campaign to uproot terrorism and spread awareness on its dangers and the contribution of senior scholars and educational curricula in rejection of extremism and fanaticism. Prince Turki pointed out the continuing efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to fight against terrorism and the success of the program to advise detainees on charges of terrorism. --More
