A symposium held in the German city of Kronburg under the title "Europe and Middle East" concluded its works today. A number of middle eastern representatives, including Saudi Arabia's Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Alkabeer, Assistant Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, who is also Director General of the International Organizations Department at the ministry, took part in the event. During the symposium, the speakers dealt with the future of the security system in the Arab Gulf region and cooperation between its member states and the European Union as well as the Arab Israeli conflict and reforms in the Arab world. Addressing the gathering, Prince Dr. Turki highlighted the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in fighting terrorism and the measures taken by the Saudi authorities in the field of reforms.
