Qa'dah 13, 1431 H/Oct 21, 2010, SPA -- Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has expressed strong condemnation for the convening of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) a conference on tourism in Al-Quds. In a press release distributed today, the OIC Secretary General said that that the OIC is deeply concerned with this step by which Israel is seeking to mislead the world public opinion and to suggest that the international community is accepting Israel's false claims on the city of Al-Quds. The occupied East Al-Quds is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory and that the international law and resolutions of the United Nations do not recognize the Israeli sovereignty over Al-Quds, Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu stressed.
