The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu warned the Israeli occupation authorities of unsafe consequences due to any change, replacement or movement that would threaten Al-Aqsa mosque and its surroundings, stressing that the continuing construction of settlements is also a matter of great sensitivity and concern. At a news conference held here today, Ihsanoglu said that the Palestinian issue remains top agenda of the United States and the West with the Islamic world, warning of the gravity being done by the Israeli authorities in the occupied Al-Quds city and its continuing attempts to judaize it. Ihsanoglu's remarks came on the sidelines of his visit to Switzerland to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of OIC.
