He said a number of memoranda of understanding between SDF and UN relief-related organizations worth $68 million were signed, adding that the total amount offered by SDF for Pakistani development projects was estimated at $700 million while the total relief assistance already provided for Pakistan amounted to $354,198,994. This is in addition to what has been offered by Saudi businessmen including relief items and building materials and construction, Madani said. He confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, would spare no effort to provide the required assistance to the needy in Pakistan.
