Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for the relief of the Pakistani people started to provide milk and dates to rescue starving children in Haydarabad and Tahtaha and the surroundings. Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and direct supervision of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, the two-pronged campaign haeded from Karache for each of Haydarabad and Tahtaha to provide 105 tons of milk and dates for children suffering from lack of supply and malnutrition in southern Sind Province in Pakistan. Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir; Col. Pilot Staff Saeed bin Mashafi Aftan, Assistant Military Attache in Pakistan; Bandar bin Gablan Al-Ajami, in charge of Urgent relief at the Campaign's regional bureau in Pakistan; and officials at the Saudi Consulate General took part in the distribution operation. In press statements, Pakistani officials and supervisors of flood-hit areas camps said the Saudi assistance came at the right time and was harmonious with the need.
