Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir today opened the first of two Saudi mobile hospitals in the flood-hit areas in Pakistan. Al-Ghadir cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the field hospital in the Sindian city of Tata. The opening ceremony was attended by Governor of Sind State Dr. Ashrat Al-Abbad; Minister of Federal Workforce Dr. Farooq Sitar; Regional Minister of Health Dr. Sagheer Ahmed and Minister of Industry and Commerce Raoof Siddiqui, and a number of civil and military officials. In a press statement, Al-Ghadir explained that three kinds of Saudi teams are operating in Pakistan in relation to the aftermath of the floods: relief, medical treatment and search and rescue. For their part, the Pakistani senior officials expressed thanks to the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for the unprecedented relief and treatment assistance.
