General Award Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Translation Dr. Said bin Fayez Alsaeed highlighted the role of translation and its importance in the renaissance of any scientific knowledge. In his lecture today titled (Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Translation: vision and goal) at the seminars hall of the International Book Fair in the Japanese capital of Tokyo on the occasion of participation of Saudi Arabia as guest of honor in the fair for this year, Dr. Alsaeed hailed the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to establish an international prize for translation bearing the king's name. The symposium titled (Saudi Arabia and Japan .. dialogue for the future) discussed the issue of coexistence and conflict between local culture and globalization. Saudi cultural attaché in the UAE, Dr. Abdullah Al Tayer highlighted Saudi efforts to promote the culture of dialogue among followers of religions and cultures as well as moderation. In papers on Saudi women education, Dr. I'ashih Alhosain and Dr. Najah Alqablan highlighted the kingdom's progress in the field of women education. Saudi Ambassador to Japan Dr. Abdulaziz Turkustani participated in the symposium highlighting strength of Saudi-Japanese relations.
