The International Prize of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for Translation has received 186 nominated works written in 16 languages from 30 countries in the first round of the prize. The chairman of the scholarly committee of the prize Dr. Saeed bin Fayez Alsaeed said the next rounds of the prize will further enrich the translation movement from and to Arabic in view of the increasing attention given to the prize by those concerned with Arab cultural affairs. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency on the occasion of the upcoming ceremony of prize handing to the winners on Tuesday 23/4/1429 H., Dr. Alsaeed extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his support for this prize.
