Arab-Turkish Cooperation Forum has stressed the urgent need to promote the principles of dialogue, understanding and respect among the followers of religions and cultures. In their final communiqué issued yesterday evening at the conclusion of the 3rd session of the Arab-Turkish Forum which was held here, the Arab Foreign Ministers and Turkish Foreign Minister have welcomed the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting dialogue among the followers of religions expressed by the "World Conference on Dialogue" that was held in Madrid in July 2008 under the patronization of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and King Juan Carlos of Spain. The Communiqué called on to strengthen the common cooperation between Turkey and Arab countries in the economic, trade, culture, education, media and tourism fields in addition to the establishment of supreme strategical councils to activate such cooperation between the two sides. The Arab and Turkish foreign ministers have also tackled in their final statement a number of regional, international and Arab issues, especially the situation in Palestine.
