Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, received in Jeddah this evening the General Commissioner for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Filippo Grandi and the accompanying delegation. During the audience, they discussed efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, his Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier to highlight the Kingdom's pioneering role in the field of the provision of relief and assistance to disaster-and-calamity-stricken areas in the world. Prince Naif confirmed the keenness of the Saudi leadership and people to extend their utmost to the needy brothers of Palestine, citing the execution of ten relief projects in Gaza by the Saudi Relief Campaign in collaboration with UNRWA. The audience was attended by senior officials.
