Riyadh Governor receives UNRWA Commissioner-General

Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, received here today Filippo Grandi, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and his accompanying delegation.
Grandi, who was appointed as UNRWA Chief on January 20, 2010 after having served as UNRWA's Deputy Commissioner-General since October 2005, expressed his appreciation for the Saudi leadership and the Saudi citizens on the unlimited support for UNRWA and the Palestinian people.
He also presented a detailed elaboration on the Agency' mission and methods of spending money and the beneficiaries of the UNRWA's services.
