He told ambassadors that his ministry did hard work to reach all parts of the world through a cultural and information mechanism, using the state-of-the-art media technology and launching new satellite channels, citing the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunna channels in addition to the cultural and economic channels. On opening more offices for the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) abroad and appointing correspondents and representatives, he said the Ministry has received several requests, demanding the support of SPA to appoint correspondents or representatives or to open offices in a number of countries. "We are now preparing for this matter", he said, noting that SPA should have a presence in some important countries, like Turkey and other parts in Europe, citing Switzerland, Germany and Vienna. Dr. Khoja pointed to the common and integrative role between the Foreign and Information ministries to fill the gaps that might be suffered in some countries. He also noted the increasing number of Saudi students on scholarships abroad and underscored the importance of activating their role, pointing to the importance of coordination among the ministries of Higher Education and Culture and Information and Saudi embassies abroad to provide the students with important and correct information about their country and the host countries. It is our duty to equip them with necessary information they need, Dr. Khoja concluded.
