Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Allegiance-Pledge Commission hailed here today the distinct step taken by Ministry of Culture and Information, in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on starting transmission of four new channels of Saudi Television. Prince Mishaal considered the step as an addition with special impact and a qualitative move within Saudi TV information institutions, citing especially the launching of two channels of the Holy Quran and Sunnah (Traditions) , as they go in tandem with Saudi conscience and touch the very core of Saudi Arabia, as the cradle of Islam. Prince Mishaal said he is highly appreciating efforts of Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja in this regard, stressing that the media in this time is the best device to relay sublime message, and to diffuse awareness inside and outside the Kingdom. -- SPA
