Awwal 05, 1432, Feb 08, 2011, SPA -- The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhaydin Khoja has pointed out that the contract worth SR 90 million for a term of three years which was signed on Monday with Delta Establishment for Production and Distribution, jointly with Delta Limited Company, includes 6 Saudi Television channels, namely the first, second, sports, Al-Akhbariyah (news), economic and cultural channels, noting that this step will allow these channels constant and direct follow-up of all events and activities in the world. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Khoja said that the door is open to all Saudi citizens abroad, including students on scholarships, to work as TV reporters in their specialties and interests if they meet the required conditions and specifications. He stressed that all TV channels will not be confined to short news coverage only, but they will have a permanent presence in the locations of important and great events for live coverage at home and abroad.
