Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, has highlighted the significance of the information training center at the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as a new specialized information edifice which serves media cadres at SPA and other authorities concerned with the development of the skills and capabilities of their employees through practical and theoretical training in line with the most advanced technological developments in editing and transmission of news and photographs. In a statement to SPA, Prince Turki said the culture and information ministry, in line with the directives of minister of culture and information Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, is keen on the development of SPA as well as other sectors of the ministry in all domains including the training domain. Training constitutes a special importance to all persons working in the information sphere at the local, Arab and international arenas, he said, noting that the Kingdom is an important and effective part in the information world. --MORE
