based al-Nadwa said the Arab summit is convened at a time when the Arabs are facing great and dangerous challenges notably the Israeli frequent aggressions on the Palestinian territories and violations in al-Quds. The paper noted that al-Quds is subject to a comprehensive Judaization process through expansion in settlements and desecration of Islamic sanctuaries, adding that these developments require a firm Arab stand. The daily called for uniting Arab ranks and discarding all differences, pointing out that the developments of the situations in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Sudan require intensive attention. Al-Nadwa underscored the importance of reconciliation of Hamas and Fatah so as to enable the Arabs to work for a just and comprehensive peace in line with the Arab peace initiative. --More
