The Cabinet at its meeting held in Jeddah on Monday under the chairmanship of Vice-custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Aziz reviewed regional developments notably the Palestinian issue, said the paper adding that the Kingdom is keen on just and comprehensive settlement for the Arab-Israeli dispute which enables the Palestinians restore their usurped rights and establish their independent state with al-Quds as its capital. The Kingdom is also concerned with the developments in Iraq and has been doing its best to preserve the unity of Iraq, said the daily noting that Iraq is in need of the Arab nation and the Arab nation is also in need of Iraq. In addition to that the Kingdom is keen on stability in Somalia and Sudan, and it is known of its efforts for realizing security and peace in the entire region, the daily added. --more
