Clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces in several districts of the occupied city of Al Quds (Jerusalem) within and outside the walls of the Old City. According to Palestinian News Agency "WAFA", a large contingent of Israeli soldiers stormed the town of Issawiya, northeast of Al Quds, and opened heavy fire, lobbed tear gas and shot incendiary and rubber bullets, while the Palestinians helplessly responded by throwing stones at the occupation soldiers and vehicles, and burnt rubber tires in the main streets to prevent Israelis from roaming in the town. The agency said clashes erupted again near military checkpoint at the main entrance to the Shu'fat camp in Al quds downtown, where young students responded to Israeli attacks at the checkpoint with stones and empty bottles. Clashes are underway in several neighborhoods of the Old City, especially in the neighborhoods of Hatta, Saadia and Al-Wad Street, all adjacent to the Blessed Mosque of Al Aqsa. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation security services continued broking into the homes of Palestinians in most areas of the city of Al Quds arresting a number of young people. Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces tightened the siege of the Old City of the occupied Al-Quds, and continued closing the gates of The Blessed Mosque of Al-Aqsa for the fifth day in a row in front of Muslim worshipers who were over the age of fifty years and are continuing the same action at the gates of the old town where a lot of traders are not able to open their shops because of the Israeli occupation forces actions.
