Quds, October 05, SPA -- Fierce clashes sprung yesterday evening between Palestinian citizens and assaulting Israeli occupation forces in Al Sawwanah and Tur neighborhoods, near the Blessed Mosque of Al-Aqsa, Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported. WAFA quoted Palestinian witnesses as saying the troops, reinforced by the occupation Israeli army arrived in the area and began firing rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at a group of Palestinians who were demonstrating to protest Israeli aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque earlier yesterday. On the other hand, violent clashes broke out Sunday evening between Palestinian residents of the Shu'fat Camp Al Quds City and Israeli occupation forces. Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber bullets; sound bombs and incendiary tear gas canisters, towards young Palestinians who threw stones protesting Israeli occupation forces; the occupation force, in turn, closed the checkpoint at the entrance to the Shu'fat camp.
