Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Shoura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and who led his country's delegation to the meetings of the 16th conference of Arab Parliamentary Union (APU) has made clear that the final decisions reached by the conference were unanimous and satisfactory. In a statement following the conclusion of the conference here today, Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh stressed that one of the most important aspects reported in the final statement of the APU was the satisfaction of the Arab parliamentarians of the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Arab reconciliation and its efforts regarding the conflict in Africa and to overcome the obstacles surrounded the conference, pointing out that the State of Qatar will host the 17th conference of APU upon its request which was welcomed by Arab parliamentarians.
