Chairmen of Arab Parliamentarians welcomed the initiative launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the recently-concluded Arab Economic Summit in Kuwait to overcome the differences between Arab brothers and look forward to the future. These remarks were included at the start of the final statement issued following the conclusion of the 15th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union in the Omani capital Muscat. Saudi Chairman of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Alsheikh led his country's delegation to the conference. The final statement also welcomed the quick and sincere response of the Arab leaders to the Saudi Monarch's initiative, wishing the forthcoming Doha-based Arab Summit Meeting every success in overcoming the inter-Arab differences, uniting the Arab ranks and reviving the Arab solidarity. In their final statement, the attendees denounced the recent brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip. They also expressed support for the United Arab Emirates in its dispute with Iran over the UAE's occupied three islands. The Statement pointed out to the possible repercussions of the decision of the International Criminal Court against the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir.
