The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, who headed the delegation of Saudi Arabia to the 16th Conference of Arab Parliamentary Union (APU), which started here on Tuesday, pointed out that the Conference focused on the Palestinian issue and the serious consequences of Israeli annexation of Ibrahimi Mosque and Bilal bin Rabah Mosque to the list of Jewish heritage sites. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the current developments of the Palestinian cause need a unified position from the Union, noting that the support and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Majlis Al-Shura have led to the significant impact of Majlis on all previous meetings of the Conference and its resolutions and decision-making process.
