The Unified Law Committee for supervision of insurance activities in the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) began its meeting here today. The Committee will focus on issues pertaining to supervision and surveillance of insurance activities including the proposal of the United Arab Emirates about the definition of the cooperative insurance. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
