The 55th session of GCC Supervision and Control Committee on the Banking Sector will start its two-day deliberations here on Tuesday. The participants of the meeting are scheduled to review issues pertaining to supervision of legislations. On the fringe of the session, a workshop will also be organized on unification of supervision and control system of the banking sector in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council, comprising Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
