The 14th meeting of officials in-charge of ports authorities in member states of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council began its deliberations at the GCC General Secretariat here on Monday. The participants of the two-day meeting will review issues pertaining to cooperation and coordination among the GCC countries in the fields of ports, shipping, hydrographic survey, updating regulations of sea ports and the draft of the unified marine work. They will also review issues relating to insurance in the GCC states and other related topics. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
