Four people were killed Thursday in a fire that gutted a residential area in a central Philippine city, a police report said. The victims were residing in one of the apartments razed by the fire that occurred before dawn in Cebu City, 585 kilometers south of Manila, according to dpa. The blaze destroyed 14 residential apartments and eight houses in Capitol Site village. Fire investigators were still determining the cause of the fire.
