The paper said the Kingdom, after defeating Al-qaeda, had warned against the menace of Al-qaeda's existence in Yemen. As Yemen is neighboring the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia should be one of the participants of London conference. The daily believed that any intervention in Yemen's domestic affairs will prompt the internal strife, adding that extending support to Yemen to confront its development and economic challenges should be given a top priority so as to strengthen the Yemeni government and enabling it to face any pressure. If London conference is keen on Yemen's independence and security, then it should provide Yemen with a great financial support, the paper said. "But any assistance to Yemen should never be linked with any political conditions or commitments that undermine the country's political stability," the daily noted.
