Turkish relations, the Dammam-based Al-Yaum said relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey, which play influential roles at the regional and international arenas, have been further cemented.
The daily noted that the Kingdom is the cradle of Islam while Turkey was the center of the Islamic Caliphate for several centuries, and for the time-being it has been playing a fruitful role for the service of the nations of the region.
The paper affirmed that the Kingdom has been shouldering its responsibility towards the service of the Muslim world as well as for building regional relations based on cooperation and confronting common challenges.
"If the Kingdom and Turkey enhance their cooperation, naturally such strong bilateral ties will positively contribute to enhancing the pillars of stability in the region," the daily said.
The two countries should cooperate to make Iran adopt a policy that aims at establishing fruitful relations and serves all nations of the region instead of adopting aggressive policies that exhaust the potentialities of the region and cause economic and political losses and subsequently harm the social peace and the regional security.
The Iranian aggressive behavior which sympathizes with the Houthian aggression against the Kingdom and its support to outlaws who work against the legitimate government in Yemen in addition to its role in creating communal strife in Iraq and poisoning atmosphere in Lebanon as well as dividing the Palestinian ranks will never serve the interests of the Iranian people and its fraternal relations with the nations of the region, the daily added.
