Britain"s military says two soldiers have been killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan. The Ministry of Defense says the troops from 3rd Battalion The Rifles died Friday while on foot patrol near Sangin in Helmand province. The deaths brings to 249 the number of British military personnel who have died in Afghanistan since the start of operations there in October 2001, according to The Associated Press. The defense ministry said Saturday that the soldiers" families have been informed.
