British soldier killed in Afghan blast

A soldier from Britain"s Royal Logistic Corps has died in a blast in Afghanistan"s Helmand Province, UPI quoted military officials as saying today.
The soldier died Saturday near Sangin, British Ministry of Defense officials said.
The death brings to 224 the number of British military personnel killed in Afghanistan since 2001, the BBC reported.
