Officials from 30 military and civilian bodies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a meeting at the Borders Guard Command in the Eastern Region today for preparing a plan of the annual exercise for the management and confrontation of maritime disasters in the Arabian Gulf. The Commander of Border Guard in the region Brigadier Dr. Musaed bin Salamah Al-Faydi said that maritime disasters have become issues of high concern to the international community because of their direct threat to human life and the surrounding environment.
