KHOBAR – Only 8 cases of drowning occurred this year in comparison to 18 deaths last year, said Brigadier Musa'ed Bin Salamah Al-Faydi, Commander of Border Guards in the Eastern Province. The decline in drowning cases was achieved after an awareness campaign was launched across the province last year, he said. The awareness campaign will continue after the Haj holidays in coordination with the Girls' Education Directorate, the Civil Defense and private schools.
