Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics particularly the achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in education as well as the disaster of Jeddah floods. In its editorial, Al-Nadwah newspaper said that the King received on Friday King Khalid Award for National Achievements in recognition of his great achievements in the development of higher education and upgrading it to a leading position in the world. The paper added that the King"s achievements have been an embodiment of the King"s call for qualification of Saudi citizens and that the Kingdom should be built by its citizens, therefore educational institutions have been increased to qualify citizens to perform their roles in building the homeland.
