Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics particularly the King"s speech during an audience with the Second Deputy Premier as well as commented on the disaster of Jeddah floods. In their editorials on the King"s speech during an audience with the Second Deputy Premier on Sunday, Al-Bilad and Al-Nadwah newspapers said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had stressed that neither the enemies of Islam nor some deviant Muslims can affect Islam and their true Muslim brethren. The papers noted that King gave good tidings to the Muslim community that the Muslim community is well in all countries and continents, adding that the King attributed the power of Islam, Muslims and the Islamic world to their adherence to the banner of monotheism that "There is no God but Allah, Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah." The papers said that thanks to the King and the Crown Prince for continuing modernization and development of the Armed Forces and their equipment with the most sophisticated weapons to defend the Kingdom and to be on full alert to deal with any threats against Saudi territories and citizens. --More
