The United Nations on Monday appealed for $177 million for humanitarian relief in Yemen next year. “Humanitarian needs are serious and increasing, and we fear that vital development gains are being lost,” Pratibha Mehta, the U.N. resident and humanitarian coordinator for Yemen said at the launch of the appeal.
