The third meeting of the Speakers of Parliaments and Shoura Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States was held here today. The Kingdom"s delegation to the two-day meeting was led by the Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. Addressing the meeting, the Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi said that the parliamentary action of Gulf Cooperation Council countries meets the goals set by GCC leaders in terms of enhancing cooperation and coordination. In a press statement on the sidelines of the meeting, the Speaker of the Shoura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh said that the meeting comes within the framework of joint efforts to enhance the fraternal relations existing among GCC Parliaments and Shoura Councils. --SPA
