The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of Higher Education Council, has approved the decisions taken by the Council on the establishment of a number of research centers in a number of universities. In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari pointed out that the Council has approved in its 56th session the establishment of a number of departments and centers in a number of universities. He added that among the decisions is one related to the assignment of the teaching staff as undersecretaries to a number of the universities. Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for supporting education and exploiting all potentials for its development.
